God Bless Chanel...

"It was rather like an uplifting rite of spring, perfectly pitched between graphic modernism, ravishing romance, and astonishingly innovative detail." Style.com

Just when you thought Chanel could not be bettered and Karl Lagerfield could not excel anymore. He creates this. What can only be described as a white wonderland. I'm in total LOVE. It is divine. The Purity, the flowers and the cleanness. These are two of my favourite looks from the collection. I really wish I could wear white but as I'm paler than a vampire it would not be a good look.

I actually can not get over how stunning it is. Pure beauty and going very well with my new white jewellery I am creating right now. Its like we are awakening together me and Chanel. If only.

Falling in love...

Just seen this book by Rob Ryan. This if for You. Its beautiful and the only present I'd really see as romantic in this yuck Valentine season.

His work is pure magic. He weaves in and out of this story like world and creates images that are modern yet fairy like. He is someone I really admire. Every picture is so intricate and so delicate. It is astonishing work. I cannot get enough. His shop on Cheshire Street is like visiting another world where you take joy out of the simple pleasures. He creates beauty just using paper he is a genius.

I'm in love...

with Take Thats new song Up all Night. Its such a good pop song but at the same time different from what they normally do. And Mark gets to sing lead. Its fabulous.

Heath Ledger got nominated for an Oscar today on the anniversary of his death. Such a sad and great thing all at once.

I'm turning into a bit of a film geek with all this extra time on my hands. I want to watch all the films nominated for Best Picture. I've seen Slumdog Millionaire already and it was good but I thought a little over hyped. I was expecting the best film ever and it wasn't. It was good though, a colourful but gritty slice of Indian life. I now really want to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, I think its a great concept. Frost/Nixon, Well into my politics at the moment and then Milk just to round it off. I'm not sure about The Reader but we will see. I used to have an unlimited film card when I was in Uni and could go see loads of films. It was great as you would go watch films you might not normally. If I had a car I would so get one now.

Of course this all just means I really should get a job but whilst I'm looking I might as well watch as many films as possible.

I still can't quite believe it...

My favourite movie moment ever.

So sad. So missed. So amazing.

Gosh...

So just reading through my last couple of posts and they are quite superficial. About pop stars and crushes. Then I realised I don't really have anything else to write about. It's all me me me. Oh well...

I have recently discovered just how great Harpers Bazaar is. I always read VOGUE and I love it I do but this months cover of Cheryl Cole has annoyed me slightly.

Don't get me wrong I think she's a stunning girl but on the cover, I think, she looks completely different. She looks like every other celebrity when in fact the girl is beautiful and actually has some realism behind her smile.

Anyway this led me to discover my mothers pile of Harpers and i was entranced. Some great stories with a eclectic mix of fashion. It just seems fresh. I am so hooked.

My dream job would be to work for a fashion magazine which is why i LOVE the Hills. Lauren used to intern for Teen VOGUE. It's such a guilty pleasure. It is back on tonight and I can't lie. I am excited.

I am trying to find a new job at the moment. And it's hard and frustrating I know what I want to do I just can't find a place that will take me. It's clouding my head. I'm supposed to be making at the moment or at least designing but I just do not feel creative. My head is full of the stress of finding a proper job or finding somewhere to live. I just cannot relax and creative. It is like I'm going round in circles so as i said its frustrating.

I made a promise to myself today that I will go up to my studio and even if I just do one drawings. I have to do something. I will use this to inspire me...

The best present...

So I got what I really wanted for Christmas but could not afford. Britney Spears Tickets!! Now I know she has her haters right now but I love her and when June rolls around I would have been distraught at everyone going to see her but me. But now I will be able to see for myself. I have seen her before so I can compare but trust me when I say I will not be disappointed! It's Britney Bitch!

So that was Christmas...

So Christmas has come and gone . My favourite time of year!

But I have had a blast. I love being in Wales and this year I got to hang out with my London chums who are from Wales to so it was like the best of both worlds.

So surreal to be in Scruples with all the girlies I go out with in London!

Had a super fun time with everyone. My whole family was here for Christmas and it was so lovely and festive my perfect Christmas. New Years was fun as always. Lots of friends and dancing and fireworks!

So much fun to be had with old school chums and my lovely best friend Sarah.

I got a new camera for Christmas so going to try and take full advantage this year. My New Years resolutions are -

1 - To stop biting my nails
2 - To go to new places
3 - To stop dating people I don't find attractive

So its onto 2009, 2008 was an interesting year full of ups and downs so I wonder what it will bring!

Lets hope for Health and Happiness for everyone!
